We have immediate FT/PT/PRN opportunities at NGMC Gainesville, NGMC Braselton, and at our outpatient practice in Blairsville (no nights or weekends, no call).
Our busy structural heart program includes transesophageal imaging, TAVRs, post-TAVRs, LVADs, RAMP studies, and mitral valve clips, with more opportunities soon. Efficiently managing a high volume of cardiac and vascular imaging is at the core of all we do. Our accomplished team consists of echocardiography faculty, skilled cardiovascular fellows, and a dedicated group of 88 expert cardiovascular technologists. Working in synergy with our renowned cardiologists and vascular surgeons, we integrate cutting-edge technologies like cardiac CT, CMR, and nuclear medicine studies into our diagnostic and treatment planning processes.
Our state-of-the-art laboratory technologies include Philips EPIQ CVx and our technologists are trained in 3D reconstruction with TruView and Glass View, left atrial/ventricle and right ventricle strain imaging, research studies for cardio-oncology, and contrast perfusion.
Vascular Technologist
- RVT or Certificate in Diagnostic Medical Sonography in the field of vascular.
- One (1) year of clinical experience in non-invasive vascular ultrasound is preferred.
Echo Technologist
- Certificate in Medical Sonography-Cardiac Specific (RDCS or RCS).
- One (1) year of clinical experience is preferred, with a strong emphasis on adult echo. Pediatric experience is desirable.
Echo/Vascular Technologist
- Certificate in Medical Sonography-Vascular (RVT) and Cardiac (RDCS or RCS) Specific (RVT, RDCS or RCS) is required at hire.
- Proficiency in the dual modality based on department criteria. New grad PRN staff must have completed student rotation with NGMC within the prior year.
- One (1) year of clinical echo or vascular experience is preferred.
