Community Health Needs
Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC), with input from the community, completes Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNA) every 3 years, with the most recent completed in 2022. NGMC has conducted assessments partnering with the community since the late 90s. Beginning in 2013, federal law requires non-profit hospitals to complete assessments, make the results available to the community and develop implementations plans that the hospital will champion.
