Now Offering Ultra-Minimally Invasive Spine Surgery

Northeast Georgia Medical Center Braselton now offers ultra-minimally invasive spine surgery using endoscopic spine technology – a cutting-edge treatment option for certain patients with herniated discs, spinal stenosis, arthritis or osteoarthritis.
Endoscopic spine surgery allows surgeons to better locate and treat distinct vertebrae on the spinal column. The endoscope is about the width of a pencil and allows surgeons to view and reach small areas of the spine without the need for a large incision, which is required for traditional back surgery. This minimizes disruption and damage to muscles responsible for stabilizing the back and reduces the need to remove bone.
This means less risk and a shorter recovery time, so patients can return to life more quickly with reduced or eliminated pain. Schedule an appointment with one of our neurosurgeons to see if this surgical option might be right for you.
