Sponsorships and Requests for Support

Northeast Georgia Health System (NGHS) is a not-for-profit community health system dedicated to improving the health and quality of life of the people of Northeast Georgia. NGHS is anchored by Northeast Georgia Medical Center’s four hospital campuses – NGMC Gainesville, NGMC Braselton, NGMC Barrow and NGMC Lumpkin – with a total of more than 960 beds and more than 1,400 medical staff members representing more than 60 specialties. It is our mission to improve the health of our community in all we do.

Northeast Georgia Medical Center (NGMC) values cooperative efforts with community organizations and other healthcare providers to improve the health status of area residents. NGMC demonstrates this through many partnerships ranging from serving as lead agency of the Safe Kids Coalition of Gainesville Hall County, to partnering with other organizations such as Good News Clinics and Public Health Departments to reach at-risk populations in need of health care.

How we benefit our communities

In FY22, NGHS hospitals (NGMC Barrow, Lumpkin, Gainesville & Braselton) provided an estimated $208 million in community benefits. Health education was provided through free community lectures, screenings, support groups and the semi-annual health magazine, Communicare. NGMC offered many community education seminars on topics ranging from health and nutrition to seminars for health professionals in the community, region, and state. In addition, NGMC provided support to other local non-profit organizations that serve the community. Click here to learn more.
